Virtual Briefing: UNICEF State of the World's Children Report on Mental Health & Well-Being
The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated challenges around mental health for children and youth globally, including here in the U.S.

For the first time in its 40-year history, UNICEF’s State of the World's Children report focuses on mental health and well-being. The report lays out the high cost of inaction and highlights successful interventions within families, communities and schools to protect and promote better mental health and well-being for children and youth, as well as their caregivers.

Please join us for a launch event with Congressional champions, community partners, UNICEF experts, and child advocates to share lessons learned and what needs to happen now to support children around the world to have a better future—including the role of U.S. global leadership in helping improve mental health and well-being.

Featured speakers include:
• Senator Bob Casey (D-PA)
• Jeremy Lin, NBA Champion & UNICEF Ambassador
• Zeinab Hijazi, Senior Mental Health Technical Advisor, UNICEF
• Ana de Mendoza, Representative, UNICEF Peru
